The terms used in this Policy are used in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy published on the Site and with the relevant legislation on the protection of data, information, texts and other products offered by the Owner.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
1.1. The Site may use “cookies”, which are small text files placed on the Visitor’s computer or device. Cookies are used by the Site solely for the purpose of ensuring the technical operation of the Site: storing the language selected by the Visitor, ensuring the security of the Site, and authorising authorised users (the Owner’s employees). Pixel tags, web beacons and other similar tracking technologies, as well as cookies for web traffic analysis, measuring advertising effectiveness or tailoring advertising offers, are not used on the Site.
1.2. Cookies are small text files that websites store on your computer or mobile device when you visit a site.
1.3. Cookies may be permanent and stored on the computer until the Visitor deletes them, or temporary (such cookies are called session cookies), i.e. stored only until the browser is closed. In addition, cookies are divided into first-party and third-party cookies; furthermore, we draw the Visitor’s attention to the following:
1.3.1. upon a repeat visit to the Site, cookie data are updated;
1.3.2. in most cases, a web browser by default permits the automatic storage of cookies on the Visitor’s device;
1.3.3. disabling cookies may result in restricted access to published materials and/or the incomplete functioning of the Website’s services.
1.4. The Site uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies, which do not require the separate consent of the Visitor, since the correct operation of the Site is impossible without them. The Visitor may manage cookies and reject them by means of their browser settings in the manner described in section 3 of this Policy.
1.5. More detailed information about cookies and their use can be found at: www.aboutcookies.org.
2. TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON THE SITE
2.1. In accordance with the classification of the International Chamber of Commerce, only the following categories of cookies are used on the Site:
2.1.1. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Visitor to navigate the web page and when using certain services, for example, to access protected pages and to log in. On the Site, these include: the service cookies of the Site’s security system (wfwaf-authcookie-*, wf_*), which ensure the operation of the firewall and protection against unauthorised access, as well as the WordPress core session cookies (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*, wordpress_logged_in_*), which are used mainly for authorised users — the Owner’s employees.
2.1.2. Functional cookies are used to store parameters or configurations that are retained on the Visitor’s device between web browser sessions. On the Site, these include the pll_language cookie, which remembers the language version of the Site selected by the Visitor.
2.1.3. Performance (analytical) cookies, which aggregate information about the use of the Site for statistical and analytical purposes, are not used on the Site — web analytics systems are not installed on the Site.
2.1.4. Targeting (advertising) cookies, which are used to deliver personalised content or advertising, are not used on the Site.
2.2. The Site Administration does not provide information collected by means of cookies to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, in particular to media clients, advertisers, agencies and partners. Visitors’ IP addresses may be processed by Defiant Inc. (the developer of the Wordfence security system) solely within the operation of the Site’s security system.
2.3. Third-party analytics, advertising and social media services (in particular Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook), X (Twitter), Instagram, etc.) are not used on the Site, and third-party cookies of such companies are not set by the Site.
3. MANAGING COOKIES
3.1. The Visitor has the right to choose whether or not to accept cookies.
3.2. If the Visitor decides to refuse cookies, they will not be able to use the full functionality of the Site.
3.3. The Visitor may at any time change the settings for the use of cookies by means of their browser settings.
3.4. As an alternative, the Visitor may block all cookies by activating the setting in their browser (see your browser’s help section to find out how to do this) that allows the setting of all or some cookies to be refused.
3.5. If the Visitor uses their browser settings to block all cookies (including first-party cookies), they will not be able to access all or certain parts of our site.
3.6. If the Visitor accepts some or all cookies on this Site, they may still configure their browser in such a way that the browser notifies the Visitor when it receives a cookie, so that they can decide whether or not to accept it.
3.7. Disabling cookies will affect the functionality of this and many other websites that the Visitor visits. Disabling cookies usually results in certain functional capabilities and features of this Site being switched off. It is therefore recommended not to disable cookies.
3.8. More information about how to manage the most popular browsers can be found here: Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox.
